Making-Merit

I am always working hard to be a good person. To “make-merit” as we say in Thailand.

Merit is considered fundamental to Buddhist ethics. It’s a protective force that gathers as a result of good deeds, and good thoughts. Merit-making brings good, determines the quality of the next life and contributes to my growth towards enlightenment.

The effect of good, done through physical action or thought is associated with goodness and purity of mind.
